Experienced Low Voltage Cabling Technician
Do you take pride in a server rack that looks like a work of art rather than a bowl of spaghetti? If you’ve got the technical skills and the drive to deliver clean, high-performance infrastructure, we want to talk to you.
We are looking for a Low Voltage Technician to join our field operations. This isn't an entry-level "learning on the job" position—we need a pro who can hit the ground running, lead a small crew if necessary, and ensure every drop is certified and documented to the highest standards.
Job Overview
- Pulling, routing, and terminating Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and Fiber Optic cabling in diverse environments (Commercial, Industrial, and Data Centers).
- Installing and dressing distribution frames, patches, and cross-connects.
- Utilizing Fluke testers (or similar) to certify lines and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues.
- Reading and interpreting floor plans, T-drawings, and schematics to execute precise cable paths is a plus but not required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years in low voltage cabling or telecommunications.
- You own your basic hand tools (snips, punch down, strippers) and know how to use power tools safely.
- Comfortable on ladders, lifts, and in tight spaces (plenums/crawlspaces) while following OSHA guidelines.
- Clean legal record. We will run a background check.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
